ResponsibilityJuly 9, 2012
The participants develop responsible attitudes through learning the importance of caring for and maintaining live animals, such as horses, chickens, ducks, kittens, and rabbits. Stalls must be mucked, water troughs cleaned and filled, horses lovingly groomed and tack cared for and chosen for lessons. Having another creature depend on them helps them understand the importance of keeping up your duties and responsibilities. For overnight participants, no one stays up too late; after a full day of activities and riding, they bed down for the night in order to prepare for their duties in the morning.
